This Mike Browne Design Gnome bass is a thing of beauty! You ve probably never heard of this guy but if you crave unique, masterfully crafted basses with a wood-lover feel, you need to check this one out! This bass boasts a 5 piece body with an AAAAA (yes 5 of those!) birdseye maple top and back sandwiching a northern ash center with walnut accents. The neck is crafted from maple, with flame maple sides , and a super rare pink ivory fretless fingerboard with flame maple binding. Even the fingerboard lines and headstock veneer are made from figured maple, and the headstock stinger and truss rod cover is also pink ivory. The bass is loaded with wood-covered Nordstrand pickups with custom wooden knobs, an Aguilar OBP3 preamp, and a Hipshot bridge and tuners. This bass is used but is in excellent condition with no major signs of use. Not only is it a stunner, but it plays like a dream as well, and it s one of a kind! Nice and light too, at only a 7 pounds, 6 oz.
